John & Amy Lindstrom - Papua New Guinea
Papua New Guinea is a large island located north of Australia. There are over 600 languages spoken on that one island. The Lindstroms are working with Malei believers enabling them to translate the Bible into their own language. The Lindstroms' primary task is to help the Malei translators understand what the Bible says. Then Malei translators can do their job of expressing God's Word clearly in Malei. The Lindstroms move every 3-4 months between Ukarumpa in the highlands and the Malei village of Yemil. The Malei people live in a rainy mountainous area with no cars, no roads, no electricity, no flush toilets, no running water and no telephones

Philemon Yong is on staff at a seminary in Cameroon, providing Biblical instruction to about 48 pastors who graduate each year. In addition, Linda is able to use her medical background to give these pastors training in how to respond to the AIDS crisis in Africa
