Continued prayer for SAMmy’s operating budget for 2009.  Thanks.

Pray for my daughter Jessica and grandchildren Alize, Cassandra and Kendra for safety, peace, and godly people to enter their lives.  Also, pray for my daughter Melissa to have peace (she has attempted suicide twice) and for protection for her son Zecheriah.

Thank you for praying for my cousin Todd.  They were able to put a Cadaver bone in his vertebre and stablize his neck.  However they also found another small tumor above the place they just repaired.  Todd is now on chemotherapy. 

Please pray for my son Matthew to feel God’s love and to heal his broken wrist with no infection.

Pray that SAMmy’s (Strength Among Mom’s Ministry) would be able to meet their financial obligations. They have been used by God in several Wisconsin counties as an evangilistic and discipleship tool.

 My dear sister BEV SAMUELSON just e mailed me that the Drs found she has a cancerous mass in her abdomen related to her 1993 double massectomy for cancer. It is also in her lung. She has had a hard life, but the most noncomplaining person and servant of the Lord for as long as I have known her. She comes to FCC weekly from Hager City (Red Wing area) and has served as greeter on the south side many many times (Saturday nights) She attends her Red Wing church Sundays also. She has been attending our Seasoned Believers. Also has been supporting our church and some missionaries we help. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors, comfort,greater trust in the Lord, peace for her and if God wills, healing. I believe she is ready for whatever God wills.

Chip Vierow (48) has been waiting for a liver transplant. During this time of waiting his kidneys have started to fail and he is now on kidney dialysis at the U of M hospital. He will need his kidney function to improve before he becomes eligible to receive a new liver. Pray that his condition improves this week.

Terry will be having an ultrasound of his Liver and gallbladder on Monday morning due to abnormal liver function lab tests. Please pray that the results would be normal and not require an adjustment to his medication regimen which has been effective in stabalizing his mood/emotions the past 3 months. I would also like prayer for myself, too, as I continue to adapt to life with the losses that are residual from the brain injury Terry suffered in the car accident 2 years ago. God has been good, but some days are still so incredibly difficult. Thank you.

To the praise of our God, Jim’s surgery went very well. The cancer was contained to one lung, and the Dr’s successfully removed it. They do not think that the cancer has spread to his lymph nodes. Please pray for a complete recovery and that his pain can be controlled.

Pray for my cousin, Todd McRoberts. He has cancerous tumors on his spine. An MRI revealed that the tumors have eaten away to the point that they thought his neck might break. He had surgery on Monday, then chemo will follow. I don’t believe he’sa Christ Follower.
